Tariffs

All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are for the use of the cottage by singles or couples. A continental breakfast is included (see menu below).

  • $150 nightly from 01 May 2011 to 31 August 2011

  • $165 nightly from 01 September 2011 to 30 April 2012

Cancellation fees and payment

We take credit cards, cash or EFT. Please refer when booking on availability for cancellation policy.

Early check in and late check out

We welcome you at any time from 2.00 p.m. onwards Take your time. No need to leave prior to 11.a.m

Accommodation restrictions

Waterfall Cottage is a smoke-free, pet-free zone. Our premises are not suited to children under the age of 18.

Cleaning and servicing

The cottage will be spotless when you arrive. Should you choose a longer-term stay, we will completely re-service the cottage after every second night including full linen change.

Complimentary

  • Please enjoy a complimentary selection of teas, coffees and herbal beverages, replenished daily

  • A hand-held hairdryer is provided

  • Bathroom pamper-pack includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and tissues, replenished daily

  • Pick up and drop from and to ferry terminal, railway station or Picton airport

Laundry and ironing

The cottage has no laundry and ironing facilities of its own. You are welcome to use ours for a small charge

Continental breakfast

Our de-luxe continental breakfast includes: fresh fruit platter, muesli or cornflakes, delicious New Zealand yoghurt, toast and croissant, muffin or sweet pastry. Selection of milks, jams, butters and sweeteners. Bottomless plungers of tea and coffee.

Breakfast is served any time to suit you between 7.30 and 9.00 a.m. If you plan to leave earlier we can make a special arrangement.

We can bring breakfast to you on a tray for enjoyment in your cottage or outside on your deck. Or we can set it up for you in our dining room inside the main house. Or we can set it up for you in our garden by the waterfall.

Our Dog

Nelson was adopted from the local SPCA after having been abandoned as a puppy. He is part Labrador and part Border Collie. He is one year old, exceptionally friendly and polite and has never entered the cottage.
